PURPOSE:To prevent the shock caused by the speed change by changing the electronic control quantity of either one of a reference line pressure setting means or a line pressure rising speed setting means in response to the hydraulic oil temperature of an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic transmission, variable kinds of friction elements are selectively and hydraulically actuated by the line pressure so as to perform the speed change. During the speed change, a reference line pressure setting means decides the line pressure of the initial time of the speed change, thereafter, a line pressure rising speed setting means changes the electronic control quantity so as to raise the line pressure with the speed corresponding to the changed speed, and set the appropreate fastening capacity so as to prevent the generation of the shock caused by the speed change and the delay of the speed change. On the other hand, an electronic control quantity changing means, in response to the hydraulic oil temperature of the automatic transmission detected by an oil temperature detecting means, changes the electronic control quantity of either one of the reference line pressure setting means and the line pressure rising speed setting means so as to perform the decision of the reference line pressure and the line pressure rising speed. Thereby, the reducing effect of the shock caused by the speed change and the preventing effect of the delay of the speed change can be always attained under any oil temperature term. |
