<p>PURPOSE:To sample and hold a high band signal by providing a superconducting switch to pass the output of a first buffer amplifier for a very short period of time, a capacitor to hold the output of the superconducting switch and a second buffer amplifier to output a held signal value. CONSTITUTION:When a signal is inputted from an input terminal 1 and a sample-hold pulse is inputted from a terminal 7, a superconducting switch 3 conducts for the extremely short period of time and accumulates the signal value of that time into a capacitor 4. Since the input resistance of a second buffer amplifier 5 is greatly large, the electric load of the capacitor 4 is prevented from decreasing and a voltage is held. The Josephson junction 10 of the superconducting switch makes a superconducting line 9 into a conducting state for the time when current is necessary to flow by a distance (d) along a superconducting line 13. Thus, a pulse narrow in width can be obtained by super-high speed switching and the sample-holding of the high band signal can be executed.</p> |
