PURPOSE:To economize energy by installing a plurality of turbocompressors in multistage form in an air feeding system and feeding the starting air into the turbocompressor on the highest pressure side among the turbocompressors for compressing the air in multistage form and starting the turbocompressor. CONSTITUTION:When the turbocompressors 32 and 33 equipped in an electricity feeding system 31 are started, a starting air feeding device 60 is operated to supply the starting air having a certain degree of pressure into the high pressure compressor 37 of the high pressure turbocompressor 33. Therefore, the impeller of the compressor 37 is revolved, and the part between the high and low pressure compressors 36 and 37 is applied with a negative pressure lower than the atmospheric pressure, and the air is guided to the high pressure compressor 37, passing through an intake filter silencer 38 and the low pressure compressor 36, by the negative pressure. Then, the compressor 36 starts revolution. Therefore, the above-described negative pressure is eliminated, and the flow rate of the air 39 which passes through the compressor 36 increases, and the air flow rate sufficient for igniting an auxiliary combustor 46 can be obtained. |
