PURPOSE:To obtain an electrolyte whose deterioration is small by a method wherein ethylene glycol or the like is used as a solvent and a quaternary ammonium salt of an 8,11-dimethyl-7,11-octadecadiene-1,18-dicarboxylic acid is used as a solute. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene glycol or a solvent composed mainly of ethylene glycol is used as a solvent. A quaternary ammonium salt of an 8,11-dimethyl-7,11- octadecadiene-1,18-dicarboxylic acid and/or an 8,11-dimethyl-1,18-octadecadiene- dicarboxylic acid is used as a solute. Then, dissociation progresses; solubility in the solvent is enhanced; esterification of a carboxylic group is suppressed at a high temperature. Thereby, it is possible to obtain an electrolyte whose deterioration is small. |
