The invention concerns a means for including an extra length of conductor or cable in a conductor or cable line 3 which at least for a considerable part is arranged to run encased in a conduit 1. In order to avoid damage to the conductor or cable caused by excavating machines or at least to limit the repair of such damage to the making of only one join, the means according to the invention consists of a casing 2 provided with connection pieces 4, 5 for connecting the conduit 1 enclosing the conductor or cable line 3 to the casing 2, whereby the conductor or cable line 3 is arranged to form a loop or loops 6 inside the casing 2 thus providing the required extra length. <IMAGE>
