PURPOSE:To increase an external electromagnetic field of a cable, by coating a magnetic substance metallic layer on the surface of conductor core as an insulating conductor constituting a spiral inner conductor and using an insulating conductor with magnetic metallic layer coated with an insulation layer on the surface. CONSTITUTION:In a radio coupling spiral coaxial cable, a plurality of insulated conductors with magnetic metallic layer are mounted in spiral at the outer circumference of a flexible magnetic core 1 made of ferrite rubber or the like to form a spiral inner conductor 3. An outer conductor 6 having slit 5 toward the lengthwise direction is provided at the outer circumference of the conductor 3, and an external insulation seath 7 is provided at the outer circumference of the conductor 6. The conductors 8 are of layer construction where a magnetic metallic layer 8b is coated on the surface of a conductor core 8a and an insulation layer 8c is provided on the surface of the layer 8b. Thus, external electromagnetic field can be increased. By using the conductors 8, the proximity effect can be reduced, then the effective resistance is small and the attenuation toward the lengthwise direction of the cable can be reduced. |
