PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a gap by joining two gap forming surfaces of a pair of core main bodies composed of a ferromagnetic oxide material through a ferromagnetic metallic thin film and a gap spacer and forming a core chip. CONSTITUTION:First, first and second substrates 6a and 6b composed of an Mn-Zn ferrite are prepared, the mirror grinding is executed on the upper surface (gap forming surface) and the lower surface of a first substrate 6a and thereafter, on the upper surface of a ferromagnetic metallic thin film 2 composed of a sendust, etc., on the upper surface of the above-mentioned substrate 6a, a gap spacer 3 composed of an SiO2, etc., is adhered and formed by 0.8mum thickness. Next, a cross section rectangular shaped winding groove 8 is formed at the position to erase a depth end groove 19 and a part of a parallel and depth end groove 19 on the upper surface of a second substrate 6b and thereafter, while two upper surfaces of both substrates 6a and 6b are abutted so that the gap spacer 3 and a preliminary track surface 20 confront each other, glass 10 is melted and fixed and thus, both substrates are glass-joined and a block 21 is formed. |
