PURPOSE:To obtain a system in which a passenger can pass through a ticket gate by directly inserting a prepaid card to an automatic ticket inspection machine. CONSTITUTION:When a passenger inserts a prepaid card 11 to an automatic ticket inspection machine 12, the ticket inspection machine 12 reads the magnetic recording data of the card 11, and then, writes an en-training station code, and opens the gate. When the passenger goes out of a platform after using a railway, and reversely inserts the card 11 into the ticket inspection machine 12, the machine 12 reads the magnetic recording data of the card 11, writes a new balance obtained by subtracting an amount corresponding to an alighting station code, and opens the gate. Thus, without purchasing a ticket, the user can directly pass through the automatic ticket inspection machine by using the card 11, and the time loss of the user is reduced. |
