PURPOSE:To reduce the number of cross points in a matrix, even if the number of components is large, by split the matrix into a plurality of blocks and providing a central matrix for connecting the blocks one another. CONSTITUTION:A conventional matrix is split into three blocks 1, 2, 3, for example, corresponding to three sets of components 5, 6, 7 along a diagonal line, and a central matrix 4 for connecting the blocks 1, 2, 3 one another is provided. The blocks 1, 2, 3 are provided with communication lines 8, 9, 10 for connecting the blocks 1, 2, 3 with the central matrix 4. Wiring is established by controlling the switching elements arranged at the cross points of the matrix. By such arrangement, the number of cross points of the matrix can be reduced when compared with the conventional matrix. |
