PIPE END CORRECTING TOOL

PURPOSE:To efficiently correct with a less operation force the end part of a pipe which has been deformed at the time of cutting by providing a supplementary pipe correction part which is formed at the side of the base end of the pipe correction part and has the end positioned on the same or smaller circumference of the maximum turning trace of this pipe correction part drawn through the axis of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:With the end of a pipe correction part inserted into a deformed end part P, a turning operation part 2 is turned so that the pipe end part P is corrected to the approximately original cylindrical form. Then after the entire correction tool is forced into the pipe end part P and a supplementary pipe correction part 3 put at the side of the base end of the pipe correction part 1 is also inserted into the pipe end part P, the turning operation part 2 is turned to turn the pipe correction parts 1 and 3 in such a way that the pipe correction faces 1b and 3a thereof simultaneously make frictional contact with the internal periphery face of the pipe end part P on the same circumference orbit. Thus the operation turning axis of the correction tool is automatically aligned with the axis of the pipe. As a result the pipe end part P may be corrected to a completely circular form with less operating force.
