PURPOSE: To simplify manufacture so as to facilitate the production of various different bellows by composing a laminated protector to be a bellows body of at least a carrier (base) layer, an outer layer and an inner reinforcing layer, and surface-welding the respective layers of the protector together. CONSTITUTION: A laminated protector (a bellows body) 1 consists of a carrier layer 2, an outer layer 3 on the outside, and a reinforcing laver 4 on the inside, and these three layers 2-4 are welded together over the whole surface. In the case of continuously producing this, for example, rolls 19-21 corresponding to the respective layers 4, 2, 3 are used, and the width B of the rolls corresponds to the axial length of one standard bellows. The reinforcing layer 4 is sent to a punching process 22, and the layers 2, 3 and the punched reinforcing layer 4 are sent together to a welding process 23 with a hot press placed, for example, where three layers 2-4 are integrally welded over the whole surface. The welded body is cooled in a cooling process 24, and then sent to a following cutting process 25 and cut in each section along a line 26. |
