PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently align a mask and a substrate by laminating a pigment layer, after that, recognizing directly the transmission pattern of light irradiating from a substrage face opposite to an electrode layer forming side and aligning the substrate and the pigment layer forming mask. CONSTITUTION:When pigment layers 5-7 are formed patternedly on a substrate 1 on which electrode layers 2 of a required pattern, a pigment layer 3 is laminated on the surface of the substrate 1 including the electrode layers 2, after that, the transmission pattern of light 8 irradiating from the face of the substrate 1 opposite to the electrode layers 2 forming side is recognized, the substrate 1 and a pigment layer forming mask 4 are aligned and the pigment layer 3 is formed patternedly. Thus, the substrate and the mask can be easily and highly accurately aligned when the pigment is formed and a display of high resolution and high grade is attained. |
