PURPOSE:To clearly observe the top of a transparent plate by providing an irradiating device for irradiating the transparent plate, on which material to be transferred is placed, at times other than the transferring time. CONSTITUTION:The irradiating device 8' is also provided other than a light source for copying device 5, so that at a period other than the transferring time, the transparent plate 2, on which the material to be transferred 2 is placed, is irradiated, not by the strong light of the device 5 but from the inside, by a light of appropriate strength by the device 8', and a clear observation of the transparent plate 1 can be carried out, definitely detecting soiling, such as a foreign matters or a scar. |
