PURPOSE:To eliminate the omission of additional information by providing plural image recording means and moving the additional information recording position according to the size of material to be recorded. CONSTITUTION:The image recorder is provided with a main recording optical system 1a for scanning an original, which can erase an image by irradiating an electrification area on a photosensitive body with illuminating light from an original exposing lamp, and an auxiliary recording optical system 1c capable of erasing an image in a specified position by selectively irradiating an electrification area. At the beginning of recording, the main recording optical system 1a erases an image, afterwards the auxiliary recording optical system 1c erases an image. The main recording optical system 1a has a white plate disposed on a specific position, for instance. Under the control of an image erasure control means, the original scanning system is stopped in a prescribed position and illuminating light from the original exposure lamp is reflected on the white plate, thereby erasing an image. Thus, additional information can be recorded at an optimum position on a body to be recorded. |
