Device for the uniform and rapid heating up of rotating preforms for hollow bodies produced by the stretch blow moulding process

A device for the uniform and rapid heating up of preforms for hollow mouldings produced by the stretch blow moulding process in a heating device is presented. A thermal radiation-permeable, air-impermeable partition is arranged along the transporting zone in the heating device for the preforms between the radiant heaters and the preforms. This measure prevents the preforms from being heated up too rapidly. Furthermore, additional protection of the radiant heaters against mechanical damage is achieved.
