PURPOSE:To make the number of passes variable instead of being fixed and thereby increase perfect printing speed in various sizes by installing a device to set an optimal number of passes existing in a paper reversing mechanism in accordance with the size of a cutform and a device to prepare a printing pattern of each page to be printed on the both sides of each cutform in the sequential printing order according to the optimum number of passes. CONSTITUTION:In a printer control section, a device to set an optimal number of passes existing in a paper inversion mechanism 15 in accordance with the size of a cutform. A device to prepare a printing pattern 22 prepares a printing pattern of each single page to be printed on the both sides of a cutform in the sequential printing order corresponding to the determined number of passes. A printing control device 23 controls the feed of a cutform and the reversing and discharge of the paper in the sequential printing order corresponding to the determined number of passes. In addition, the printing control device 23 controls the perfect printing of a printing pattern of a single page prepared by a printing pattern preparation device 22 onto each cutform. |
