PURPOSE:To improve efficiency in using a film and to shorten projecting and exposing time by allocating the place for an image, which is to be written in an intermediate image medium, according to the size of an output sheet and the number of copying sheets so that an unnecessary area on the inter diate medium is minimized. CONSTITUTION:After an original image is read by an image sensor 2 and is processed in an image processing circuit 14, an image is formed on the intermedi ate image medium 9. In this case, in order to minimize an unnecessary area on the intermediate image medium 9, the image is placed in such a way that the number of the frames for the original image which is to be written and an writing area are automatically allocated in advance according to the size of the output sheet 26 which has been set and the number of projecting/copying sheets. For example, when the size of an output sheet is set at A4 and the number of copying sheets is set at two or more, the A4 images for two frames are written into the intermediate image medium 9 simultaneously. Therefore, efficiency in using the photosensitive film 19 is improved, and the exposing time for one output paper is shortened. |
