PURPOSE:To enhance productivity by the use of a constitution wherein a temporary fixation during a welding operation is secured by pushing a rough face of an inside flange part to a holder-mounting face and by a frictional force generated at this part. CONSTITUTION:For an optical-axis alignment operation, an optical semiconductor element lens assembly 2 is fixed to a table 33; a holder 21 is displaced finely by means of a micro-displacement apparatus 32; this alignment operation is finished when a detection signal level of a detector 31 becomes maximum. After the optical-axis alignment operation, the apparatus 32 pushes the holder 21 in a Z-direction; a spring part 25 is bent; an edge face 24a of an inside flange part 24 is pushed to a holder-mounting face 26. Since the edge face 24 is a rough face, coefficient of friction between the edge face 24a and the holder-mounting face 26 becomes large; a displacement in a face direction of the holder 21 is limited by the strength which is not moved during a welding operation. In this state, a laser welding operation is executed by means of a laser welding machine 35; an outer periphery part of a flange 22 of the holder 21 is fixed to the assembly 2. Thereby, it is possible to execute the welding operation immediately after the optical-axis-alignment operation and to enhance productivity. |
