<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition capable of preventing flocculation between pigment particles, readily dispersing the pigment particles in a dispersion medium and excellent in tinting strength by adding a specific amount of a phospholipid to sulfate of a rosaniline derivative and treating the sulfate. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition obtained by adding (B) 0.5-40 pts.wt. phospholipid (e.g., phosphatidyl choline) to (A) 100 pts.wt. sulfate of a rosaniline derivative expressed by the formula (X1 to X4 are H or 1-3C alkyl; R1 and R2 are H, phenyl or 1-3C alkyl-substituted phenyl), heating and stirring the resultant mixture, preferably at 15-100 deg.C, adding an acid to the obtained solution to regulate the pH to <=4, heating and stirring the solution at 50-70 deg.C, heating the resultant acidic slurry at 90-100 deg.C for >=15min, filtering the formed precipitates, washing the precipitates with water, drying the washed residue at <=100 deg.C and pulverizing the dried residue.</p> |
