It must be possible for a lamp to be fitted to a holder in such a manner that both an electrical contact-making and a mechanical bracing takes place, it being impossible in particular to remove the lamp inadvertently. According to the invention it is provided that a holder (2) is fitted with a plug recess (3) into a which a plug pin (1) of a lamp (10) can be introduced. A clamping recess (4) opens into the plug recess (3), in which clamping recess a clamping element (5) is arranged which is prestressed by means of an elastic element (6).
