It is designed especially for allowing the pasteurization of products which are packed in plastic bags or the like, the pasteurizing operation proper being carried out immediately prior to supply of the product to the bag so that the latter is not affected by the pasteurization temperature. The machine consists of a supply/metering mechanism 1-2-7 which deposits set amounts of product over vessels 8 associated with a chain 8 which entrains them cyclically inside a tank 14, which is heated and of suitable length for pasteurization to take place, the vessels 8 finally rocking over a funnel 20 under which there is a former tube 21 assisted by a vertical welder 23 and a horizontal jaw 24 which configure and close the bags at the same time as these receive the corresponding amounts of product, the bags dropping onto a second vessel chain 26 which in turn travels inside a cold tank 30. <IMAGE>
