PURPOSE:To utilize inexpensive equipment and machines and reduce manhour and manufacturing cost by generating flashes on the end surface peripheral edge of a molded product and cut the end surface of the molded product with the flashes. CONSTITUTION:Lifting devices 6.14 of a planer 1 are adjusted, and the height H1 from a platen plate 4 to a press plate 15 is equipped with the height h(1) of a molded product S and the height H2 for a rotary cutter 11 protruding from the platen 4 is equipped with the height h(2) of a molded product cut-off section Sb respectively. The molded product S formed by a molding die 20 is disposed on the front of a rod 12a of a feeding cylinder 12, and the feeding cylinder 12 and a motor 18 are actuated to cut a cut-off section Sb of molded product S end surface together with flashes B by means of the rotating rotary cutter 11 and thus flash cutting work can be carried out without taking much time. Flash cutting work, therefore, can be carried out by using an inexpensive planer 1 utilizing the rotary cutter 11 of long life without any trouble in maintenance. |
