PURPOSE:To produce a stable high frequency power source by controlling striking phase angles of two A/D power converters and by simultaneously controlling the active power and the reactive power on the high frequency side. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency power device is composed of a three-phase AC power source SUP, a power transformer Tr, the 1st to 2nd A/D power converters SS1 to SS2, a DC reactor Ld and a high frequency phase advancing capacitor CAP and is connected to a load LOAD. As a control circuit, each compensation circuit such as a phase difference control compensation circuit Htheta etc., phase control circuits PHC1 to PHC2, a feed-forward control circuit FF, etc., are used. The above 1st converter SS1 converts AC power into DC power and with that AC voltage it is naturally commutated. The 2nd converter SS2 converts this DC power into high frequency AC power and with the AC voltage applied to the phase advancing capacitor CAP it is naturally commutated. Thus, by regulating the striking phase angles of these both converters SS1 to SS2, the active and reactive power is well controlled. |
