PURPOSE:To visually detect the life of deodorization by covering a deodorizer with a coloring retardant so that a coloring agent in the retardant gives a specific color corresponding to the life of deodorization of the deodorant. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizer 1 is composed of a container 2a in which a deodorant 2 is filled, and a transparent resin bag 4 filled therein with a coloring agent 3. The deodorant 2 is a well-known activated carbon which is absorptive. Further, a material exhibiting a general coloring reaction, that is, a material which changes color after reacting with ammonia component or hydrogen sulfide component in malodorous gas is used as the coloring agent 3. The transparent resin bag 4 serves as a color retarder for retarding the degree of coloring of the coloring agent 3. With this arrangement, when the coloring agent changes color into the same color as that of a color sample 5, it can exhibit the expiration of the life of the deodorant 1. |
