PURPOSE:To realize the remote maintenance of individual electronic computer system including computers dispersed at distance easily by enabling the remote maintenance of the electronic computer system. CONSTITUTION:The intelligent operator console (IOC) device 7 of a remote side computer 1 is called by telephone from a center side IOC7. Once receivers of those devices 7 are placed in acoustic cups, those two devices 7 are connected mutually through a public telephone network 5. Further, when a command is supplied to the device 7 of the remote side computer 1, operation on the keyboard of the remote side device 7 for a computer 1 coupled directly with the device 7 is inhibited. The center side device 7, however, is usable as the operator console of the remote side computer 1 instead. Input data from the keyboard of the center side device 7 is transmitted to the control part of the remote side device 7 through the public telephone network 5 and outputted to a flxible disk driving device and a CRT. |
