An electric tool illustrated and described in the main patent (Patent Application P 3723517.6-23) is equipped with a device for mixing at least two substances. The mixer is driven by a spindle gear provided with a hollow hub, the spindle gear being equipped on its face turned towards the mixer with claws which cooperate with recesses provided in the mixer, so that the mixer can be set in rotation. Exchanging the unit consisting of two cartridges, the supply lines from the cartridges to the mixer and the latter itself and replacement thereof by a new, corresponding unit is comparatively awkward and time-consuming owing to the associated uncoupling and coupling operation of hollow hub and mixer. With the new device, these operations are to be simplified. Connected to the hollow hub (36) of the spindle gear (33) so as to be fixed in terms of rotation is a shaft journal (66) which is equipped with longitudinal toothing (67) and on which there is longitudinally displaceably arranged a coupling element (68) having corresponding longitudinal toothing (67') and containing spring-mounted coupling pins (69). The coupling pins correspond with the recesses (37) in the mixer (26), and the longitudinal displacement of the coupling element (68) is effected by means of a sliding member (73) which, on one side, engages on the coupling element and, on the other side, can be actuated by the cover (32), in such a way that it ... during the lifting of the cover ... the ...
