PURPOSE:To input mixed infomration easily and efficiently, by providing a data discriminating part, a character recognizing part, an encoding sentence for encoding a recognized character, and a picture processing part on a titled device. CONSTITUTION:A scanner 1 reads an orginal picture, and its output is sent to a picture discriminating part 2. The picture discriminating part 2 discriminates whether an information data which has been read belongs to a character, etc. or a pattern, etc., by a prescribed discriminating algorism. A character recognizing part 3 recognizes a data of an input character, etc., and sends it to an encoding part 5. A picture processing part 4 inputs a data of a pattern, etc. from the picture discriminating part 2, executes picture processing which is suitable for each characteristic, and transfers its processed data to a display part 6. On the CRT display part 6, this processed data and a code of a character, etc. from the encoding part 5 are displayed. The code of a character, etc. and the processed data of a picture are synthesized and inputted to a memory 9, and are printed out 10. |
