PURPOSE:To form a curved edge having an appearance being continuous to other part by softening inside by heating a narrow zone approximately along the part to be cut and forwarding a cutting blade from the outer surface side under the condition that the outer surface side has a higher hardness than the inside. CONSTITUTION:Air for cooling is blown on a molded item 2 under a condition that a tension is applied on the molded item 2 by pulling a clamp 45 in the direction (b). When a cutting blade 15 is forwarded from the outer surface side, as the outer surface 2a has a higher hardness than other part, the outer surface is not cut or broken and pushed down as it is while it is drawn and as the result, a resin of the inside 2b moves to the surrounding. Part of the resin of the inside 2b easily tend to move to the uncut part 44 and to form a protuberance, which can be prevented to occur by applying the tension. When the cutting blade is furthermore forwarded, the uncut part 44 and the outer surface part 2a are curvedly deformed while an appearance being continuous to other part is kept and are cut under a condition that a curved edge 62 is formed. |
