PURPOSE:To raise the accuracy of verticality of a steel tube by a method in which the inclination of the steel tube is automatically corrected by means of an inclinometer to detect the inclination of the steel tube and a control circuit to control the actions of the push jack of a penetrator according to the detected output of the inclinometer. CONSTITUTION:When a steel tube 1 is inclined toward the direction of (x), a push jack 3 is also inclined, the inclination angle is detected by an inclinometer 5, the direction and amount of the inclination are put in a control circuit 6, the action of the push jack 3 on the axis (x) is stopped through a switch valve 7, and three other push jacks 3 are continuously operated. The inclination of the steel tube 1 is corrected until its verticality is reached, and then all the push jacks 3 are operated. After the completion of one stroke, clamping is released by the control circuit 6 on input from a limit switch, and the steel tube is upwardly moved and again penetrated. |
