<p>Radial fan combines a grinding action with conveying for tacky, intermeshed, knotted materials and allows them to be pneumatically conveyed. In the low pressure region of the fan is mounted a set of radial blades. These pick-up the incoming material and shear it on a set of co-ordinated stator knives. Behind the knives are rotor blades which serve to move the air. The knive blade can be toothed or staged to improve the cutting action. Used for grinding and conveying pulp and paper waste. Provides a conveying system of relatively small dimension with reduced plant costs, energy, space and time as well as improved conveying capability.</p> |
