PURPOSE:To obtain a masterbatch composition for modifying a thermoplastic resin having good workability by melt-kneading a specified ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer with a polybutene at a specified temperature and extruding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:30-95 pts.wt. ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer (A) obtained by copolymerizing ethylene with a 3-12C alpha-olefin in the presence of a catalyst comprising a solid component containing magnesium and titanium and an organoaluminum compound and having a melt index of 0.01-100g/10min, a density of 0.860-0.910g/cm<3>, a max peak temperature >=100 deg.C (as determined by differential scanning calorimetry, and a boiling n-hexane insoluble content >=10wt.% is kneaded with 5-70 pts.wt. polybutene (B) of a number-average MW of 300-4000 in a range from the max. peak temperature (Tm) of said copolymer as determined by DSC to (Tm-45) deg.C, and the mixture is extruded to obtain the title composition. |
