A flow-limiter (1) (Fig. 1) has a flexible annular throttle body (5) which is widened conically on the delivery side and engages with a spigot (10) on the discharge side. Between this spigot and the throttle body (5), a control gap (11) is formed whose flow cross-section can be varied by means of an approximately annular constriction of the throttle body (5) as a function of the pressure difference formed when liquid flows through. Inside its annular region, the throttle body (5) has recesses oriented in the flow direction, which are preferably designed as grooves (9) arranged in the region of the throttle body (5) close to the outer edge and opening radially to the outside at the edge. These raise the total elasticity of the throttle body (5) and thus significantly increase the control range. <IMAGE>
