PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having superior low temperature fixability, offset resistance, and blocking resistance in a well-balanced state by preparing the toner containing a binder made of a cross-linked polyester resin having an acid value and a glass transition point each within a specified range, and a (b) value and a softening point each of a specified value or less. CONSTITUTION:The binder to be used is a cross-linked polyester resin having an acid value of 0.5-20mg KOH/g, a glass transition point of 30-68 deg.C, a (b) value of <=20, and a softening point of <=155 deg.C, and it is a nonlinear condensate polymer made from a >=3 valent polyol, a >=3 valent polycarboxylic acid, a 3-12 C dicarboxylic acid in an amount of >=1mol% of the total acid, at least one of aliphatic branched diols; a 4-20 C polyoxyalkylene glycol in an amount of >=1mol% of the total acid component, an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, an aromatic diol, and ethylene glycol. |
