<p>A chain for a V-pulley which is used by being endlessly trained between a pair of V-pulleys (1) and in which blocks (30) each having an end surface (31) for coming into contact with the V-pulley (1) are respectively disposed on the outer sides of outer link plates. The end surface of the block (31) is formed into a convex surface constituted by the whole or part of a conical surface which has substantially the same apex angle as that of the inner wall (3) of the V-pulley (1) and has an axis parallel to the axis of a connecting pin (20). The block (30) may be fixed with respect to the outer link plate or may be made rotatable about the axis of the cone.</p>
