<p>In a method and apparatus for measuring a molecular weight distribution of polymers by high speed liquid chromatography analysis, the present invention heats a sample passing through a cell portion (1) to a temperature that does not cause deposition of the sample by use of a temperature controller (8), connects a spectro-detector consisting of a light source (10) and an optical detection portion (11) to the cell portion (1) by optical transmission means (13, 14) such as an optical fiber and measures transmission light through the sample in the absence of temperature influences from the cell portion and/or the sample. Thus, the invention can analyze easily and accurately a sample having a high melting point.</p> |
