PURPOSE:To enable the title heat treatment of high thermal efficiency at low cost by running a synthetic fiber filament bundle in a state of being in contact with, as a heater, a duplex tube-type heat pipe consisting of hand drum shaped tube with its inner diameter gradually decreasing inwardly. CONSTITUTION:A metallic outer tube 82 is concentrically located around a metallic inner tube 81 made in a hand drum form with the diameter at the central part gradually decreasing from its both ends, and said both ends are closed to form a closed space 83, which is filled with hydraulic fluid 9, thus establishing a duplex tube-type heat pipe, one end of which is fitted with a heating means 10 such as an electric heater, and furthermore, said heat pipe is circumferentially covered with a thermal insulating material 11, thus accomplishing a heating form. A filament bundle 1 is then made to travel through said heating form via a guide roll 71 to carry out the objective heat treatment. |
