In an apparatus for stacking sheet-metal blanks (7), the stops for aligning the sheet-metal blanks (7) are to act on different edge regions, essentially on corner regions, of the said blanks. For this purpose, the stops have stop bars (23, 24) which can be adjusted separately from one another by means of controllable actuating means (29, 32).
