A watch the case (1) of which is at least partially formed from a hard material, such case being of the type including an outer caseband (3) formed of hard material and an inner caseband (16) formed of rigid but easily machinable material, said inner caseband (16) including a radial hole (29) for accomodating a setting stem (27) said stem being engaged therein in a fluid tight manner by means of a packing (31) lodged in a peripheral groove (30) on the stem so as to be applied against the wall of the hole (29), characterized in that the outer caseband (3) is fashioned integrally with a central hub portion (4) serving as a dial (5) and includes a radial hole (28) aligned with the hole (29) in the inner caseband (16) and through which freely passes the setting stem (27) towards the exterior, the diameter of such radial hole (28) being greater than that of the stem (27) in the portion of the latter corresponding to such hole.
