<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject canvas having soft texture by coating a woven or knit fabric of synthetic fiber filament with a fluorine-based water and oil repellent and then a polyvinyl chloride resin via a specific adhesive, gelatinizing the coating layer and laminating a soft polyvinyl chloride film to the coated fabric. CONSTITUTION:A woven or knit fabric composed of a synthetic resin multifilament yarn such as polyester yarn is coated with 0.1-1wt.% (in terms of solid component) of a fluorine-based water and oil repellent. At least one surface of said woven or knit fabric is coated with an adhesive solution having a viscosity of 1,000-10,000cps and obtained by adding a polyisocyanate compound to a polyurethane and the adhesive-coated surface is further coated with a polyvinyl chloride paste resin, dried, heated to gelatinize said paste resin and laminated with soft polyvinyl chloride film to obtain a soft filament canvas having firm bonding power and high peel strength.</p> |
