PURPOSE: To ensure the essential beauty of watch while having multiple functions by determining a parameter corresponding to a function access code at a specified timing and then recognizing the access code and exciting a corresponding function. CONSTITUTION: A register 13 is connected with the output terminal of a register 12 and staggers a content equal to the number of access parameters every time when a read-out signal Rd is transmitted from a coupling circuit 11. The signal Rd is transmitted to a sequence counter 15 which then delivers a signal Sq to a comparator 17. Every time when the signal Sq appears, the comparator 17 compares a signal being transmitted on a bus 20 from the register 13 with a signal on a bus 19. The memory 18 of an electronic watch stores various access codes V1-Vn for designating the function F1-Fn of electronic watch. The codes V1-Vn are carried on scanning signals SC1-SCn and sent continuously on the bus 19 every time when the signal Sq appears and when an access code in the memory 18 is placed on the bus 20, it is recognized by the comparator 17.
