<p>PURPOSE: To suitably fit a band to a lens by providing the fitting device with a casing including a piercing device, braking devices arranged in the front of the piercing device and a guide roller arranged with an interval from an expected maximum spectacle lens periphery. CONSTITUTION: The periphery of a spectacle lens B is measured and the piercing device 35 is positioned on a band start end part while adjusting the detected peripheral size. The position is adjusted so that the casing G approaches the lens B, a counter 28 is connected to braking devices 47 to 49 and the piercing device 35 through a computer 32, and a sensor 22 for detecting the periphery U of the lens B is connected to the counter 28. The computer 32 is connected to a device 38 for adjusting the position of the device 39 in the length direction. The shaft 21 of the lens B can be moved in the axial direction and the casing G can be moved in parallel with the shaft 21 of the lens B together with the piercing device 35, the braking devices 47 to 49 and the guide roller 50.</p> |
