PURPOSE:To drive at a high speed, by inhibiting driving frequency change inhibiting working based on the detection of a phase difference at the time of driving a motor in a high-frequency band separated from a resonance state. CONSTITUTION:An oscillatory motor is composed of a rotor 1, and a stator 2 of an oscillating body 3 and this piezoelectric body 4, and the rotor 1 comes in frictional contact with the upper section of the oscillating body 3. When the wavelength of a bending progressive wave at the oscillating body 2 in the electrode 5 of the piezoelectric body 4 is set to be lambda, then driving electrodes 5a, 5b are arranged on the piezoelectric body 4 at the interval of lambda/2, and an oscillation detecting electrode 5xsi is set phase-shifted positionally from the driving electrode 5a by 3lambda/8. Besides, a ground electrode 5g is set. The piezoelectric body of A-phase is composed of the piezoelectric body with driving voltage applied to the electrode 5a, and the piezoelectric body of B-phase is composed of the electrode 5b, and on the oscillating body 3, a progressive oscillatory wave is generated, and the rotor 1 is driven. In this case, when the motor is driven in a frequency band separated from a resonance driving state, then the shift inhibiting working of frequency is not performed, and at the time of a state approximate to resonance, the shift inhibiting working is performed. |
