RCA 81,925 A CRT internal magnetic shield having a machine-stamped integral bar member formed parallel to a flat surface thereof such that a narrow underpass is formed between the two ends of the bar member. A flat end of a contact spring having a resilient ramp-shaped tongue projecting therefrom is inserted through the underpass, sufficiently, to allow an end of the tongue to clear the bar member and spring back to contact an edge of the bar member, thereby preventing removal of the spring.
