PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the major accident of the burning of a main shaft, etc., by performing a warming up with monitoring the loading state of a main shaft by a main shaft load arithmetic means and warming up control means. CONSTITUTION:The main control part 2 of a machine tool 1 decides as to whether an abnormal load acts or not by operating the loading state of a main shaft driving motor 16 by a main shaft load arithmetic part 12 according to the warming up program of a memory 15 and comparing with the load data of the normal warming up time stored in a memory 13. A warming up control part 9 drives the main shaft driving motor 16 by its rotation via a shaft control part 11 based on the warming up program and controls the driving of the main shaft driving motor 16 in case of deciding an abnormal load acting by the main shaft load arithmetic part 12. For instance, it is stopped immediately if in danger of burning and decelerated in case of the abnormal load being not so much as burning. Consequently the main shaft burning, etc., can be prevented. |
