PURPOSE:To assure reproducibility of fine wires and to form sharp picture images, by providing a magnetic member which sucks away excess developers stuck on a surface for forming electrostatic images so as to face said surface past the developing region. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical magnet roll 11 having plural magnetic poles 10 as a magnet member is provided below a body 6 of a developing device, that is, on the downstream of rotation of a surface 9 for forming electrostatic latent images, in the position facing the surface 9. The roll 11 is spaced at 0.3-1.0mm. from the surface 9, generates 600-1,000 gauss magnetic force and is rotated at a speed of several revolutions per minute. The excess toners e' on the surface 9 are sucked away by the magnetic force of the roll 11, are scraped off by a blade 12 and are contained in a receiving tray 13. Trailing phenomena are thus prevented, and the sharp picture images having excellent reproducibility of fine wires are formed. |
