PURPOSE:To eliminate an omission and to prevent the change of picture quality by executing an affine transformation for each of previously determined transfer destination picture elements. CONSTITUTION:Transfer destination picture elements 1, 2,..., and 36 are affine transformed into positions 1, 2,..., and 36 on transfer destination (X, Y) coordinates, and transfer destination picture elements (a), (b),..., and (n) are determined, which are closer to the respective transformed positions 1, 2,..., and 36. Next, when the number of the transfer destination picture elements is smaller than that of transfer source picture elements, the transfer destination picture elements, the number of which is equal to the necessary number of the transfer destination picture elements, are secured. For the necessary number of the transfer destination picture elements, for example, first, unselected transfer destination picture elements in a picture 200 are detected and secured, and further, other unselected transfer destination picture elements, which are the closest to the picture 200 and exist around the external part of the picture 200, are detected and secured. Next, the determined transfer destination picture elements are inversely affine transformed, transfer source picture elements closer to the transformed transfer destination picture elements are read on obtained transfer source coordinates, and the contents are transferred to the determined transfer destination picture elements. Thus, all the transfer destination picture elements can be used, and the picture quality is never deteriorated. |
