<p>PURPOSE:To activate an exhaust gas treatment agent by adding a material which supplies calcium sulfate to a material which supplies calcium oxide and allowing HCl to come in contact with the exhaust gas treatment agent obtained through non-solidification, hydration and curing in the presence of water. CONSTITUTION:At least, one kind of material selected from a group of materials which supply sulphate compounds, halogen element compounds, hydrosulphide and hydroxides of alkali metals, is added to materials which supply calcium oxide, silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide. Next, an exhaust gas treatment agent is produced by hydrating by non-solidification or curing by hydration the blended materials in the presence of water. This exhaust gas treatment agent is activated by allowing HCl to come in contact with said agent. The preferable contact methods of the exhaust gas treatment agent with HCl are gas/solid contact method, and a liquid/solid contact method using an aqueous nitrite solution.</p> |
