PURPOSE:To prevent the missetting of data on the commodities that can be sold by reservation and at the same time to reduce the load of clerks by preparing a master file for reserved sale and setting and supplying the reserved sale data on the reserved sale commodities before the starting date of reservation. CONSTITUTION:A disk memory 22 contains a master file for reserved sale and a reservation acceptance file and the reservation control data on the commodities are set and stored into the master file for reserved sale in response to the numbers of each reserved sale commodity. Then said master file is retrieved with input of the reservation data and the starting date of reservation is read out. The reservation is decided impossible if the count value of data of a timepiece circuit 17 does not exceed the starting date of reservation. While the reservation acceptance data is stored in the reservation acceptance file when the count value of the circuit 17 exceeds the starting date of reservation. Thus the data can be set at the master file for reserved sale at an appropriate time point before the starting date of reservation. As a result, the missetting can be avoided for the data on the commodities that can be sold by reservation. At the same time, the load of clerks can be reduced. |
