<p>The speeds of motors A and B are kept at a preset ratio. The actual ratio is sensed at 21, multiplied at 28 by the measured speed of motor B, and the speed of motor A regulated by the lower of the multiplier output and a reference from 30. Similarly, motor B is regulated by the lower of a reference from 32 and the output of a divider 26, where the measured speed of motor A is divided by the actual ratio.
