PURPOSE:To ensure excellent running property and to relax a speed change shock, by a method wherein according to the speed change motion of an automatic speed change gear executed based on an engine load state and the change in a running speed of a vehicle, a correction amount by means of which a speed change shock is relaxed is differed from each other for setting. CONSTITUTION:An engine A and an automatic speed change gear B are mounted on a vehicle. In this case, it is detected by a means C that the seed change motion of the automatic speed change gear B is caused by which speed change factor of the change in a load state of the engine A and the running speed of the vehicle. An amount of correction on a reference control amount of an object A' to be controlled, by which an engine output is changed, is served for relaxation of the speed change shock of the automatic speed change gear B and set by a means D based on each speed change factor. When a speed change emotion is effected, based on the set correction amount, a reference correction amount is corrected, and the object A' to be controlled is controlled by a means E according to the corrected reference control amount. |
